Today, a day! (Feb 23 07)
But I finished this on Feb 27 07.. I think you are going to notice a slight change in my “tenses” somewhere in the end. *smile*

"My oh my!" *laugh*

Today was one of those good days, which i seldom have. Found it a bit tiresome at first, but ended up really cool. I had a lot of fun. And for the first time in a long long time I was able to go home late. That is a really big deal for me. Just imagine my curfew today was at 10:30 pm! And, also, I was able to spend some time with Gabby. Time with him even though he played basket with his friends most of the time he was in school! *cry* Just kidding! It’s so cool because my parents knew that he was there, too! *smile*

I got to spend time with Kristine and Nezzy, when we left school, which has not happened in a long time. And of course Gener was with us. Oh!! It was so fun being with the three of them going around. *grin* I feel like such a loser being so happy having all this freedom. *smile* No, but seriously, having a really late curfew is so liberating! Yep, I think that is the best word that could describe the feeling. I wish my curfew could be this late all the time! It’s not that there are places we want to go to specifically at night or something like that, but it’s just that at the end of the day you would just want to chill and relax, and not really have to think a lot, you know. When you can just have fun with no rules and forget about all your problems. And of course one of the best parts of it all was that I got to spend it with those people I really miss! Nothing can beat a girl’s night out with your best friends in this world! Oh wait, an exception for Ginoy with the GIRL’S night out thing. *grin*

Oh yah! We ate so much junk!*laugh* Ai, was it really a lot? Well, whether or not it was a lot, it was enough to make me full. At least I got full with it because I sure didn’t have a proper dinner! *laugh* Yep, that was my fault. *laugh* and Gabby’s too! Just kidding!

The only bad thing about today was that when I got home, I got a really bad headache! Well, it wasn’t that bad, but I wasn’t able to stay up super late. But late enough for me to catch Ginoy online again! *laugh* because he wasn’t that up to IM-ing. I guess we were all so tired from our day out.

I remember I was really so tired that I think I fell asleep flat on my face! And when I woke up, man, my body felt so weird! I felt like I played some sport or something the day before. I couldn’t even really hibernate because I had to wake up a bit earlier than usual to go to school for our practice.
Anyway, I think that’s the end of our night out. I really wish we could have more of it, with less of the weird feeling! *grin*

*Reflections on Teachers and Teaching

Teaching Palma ..

Being an English teacher for my section was pretty fun in a tiresome way. And it got me to really think how much more tedious it is to be Sir Elmer! Teaching a class, oh wait, TEACHING in general requires a lot of patience and hard work. It would also help a lot if you were interested in what you were lecturing about. It was a cool thing to experience, especially since I am not fond of being in front of the class. Another fun part was getting to teach together with Daphne! We’re not that close since we haven’t been classmates, but through this teaching thing, we got to get to know each other a bit more than we did before. The sucky part with this KYSD activity was when tour “students” didn’t understand our lesson!! Which part was it again? The uses of the infinitives? *grin*

The benefits from this experience?!

Better grades in English, more bonding time with Sir and how could I ever forget, McDonald’s!!
The only food I live for! *laugh*

No, but seriously, it was really fun getting to ha out and eat McDo with Sir and the other student-teachers except Susan dear Because she was absent on that day *cry*).

Here’s a song for the all the teachers!

Thank you for teaching me how to love Showing me what the world means What I've been dreaming of And now I know, there is nothing that I could not do Thanks to You For teaching me how to feel Showing me my emotions Letting me know what's real From what is not What I've got is more that I'd ever hoped for And a lot of what I hope for is Thanks to you (Oh there's)No mountain, no valley No time, no space No heartache, no heartbreak No fall from grace Can't stop me from believing That my love will pull me through Thanks to You (Adlib) (Oh There's)There's no mountain, no valley No time, no space No heartache, no heartbreak No fall from grace Can't stop me from believing That my love will see me through Thanks to You Thanks to You

(or in other words, just repeat the song, right?)

Nice. Next year I’d probably still want to teach even though I wouldn’t be able to relax and “chill-chill”. But for the memories, I think I would.

Anyway, to end this, I would like to thank my students and co-teachers and to especially to our trainer!*laugh* just kidding, to Sir!

Even though my classmates had a lot of questions, some useless, some not, thanks for making that experience worth it!!
*mwah!*

Maybe This Time

Here’s a song that means a lot to me. Yep, it does, because the person who sang it to me the first time I heard it, means a whole lot to me! And I am going to be so mad if someone who’s not that person will sing it! JK*laugh*
I find it really cute, for real. I had a hard time finding the lyrics, too!
I love you! I love you! I love you! I love you! I love you!
You: being the song. *LOL*

Maybe this time

Two old friends meet again
Wearing older faces
And talk about the place they’ve been

Two old sweethearts who fell apart
Somewhere long ago
How are they to know
Someday they’d meet again
And have a need for more than reminiscing

Maybe this time
It’ll be loving they’ll find
Maybe now they can be more than just friends
She’s back in his life
And it feels so right
Maybe this time, love won’t end

It’s the same old feeling back again
It’s the one that they had back when
They were too young to know when love is real
But somehow, some things never change
And even time hasn’t cooled the flame
It’s burning even brighter than it did before
It got another chance, and if they take it…

Maybe this time
It’ll be loving they’ll find
Maybe now they can be more than just friends
She’s back in his life
And it feels so right
Maybe this time, love won’t end

She’s smiling like she used to smile way back then
She’s feeling like she used to feel way back when
They tried, but something kept them
Waiting for this magic moment

Maybe this time
It’ll be loving they’ll find
Maybe now they can be more than just friends
She’s back in his life
And it feels so right
Maybe this time…

Maybe this time
Maybe this time, love won’t end

Seriously. I hope this time it wouldn’t hurt as much, or if possible, it wouldn’t hurt at all! But I think that’s impossible. But, then again, nothing is impossible if you just believe!

I believe in believing. I seriously never thought that this would ever happen. For real, if you just knew how hopeless I felt! I could have just died! *laugh*

It’s so cool to think about before when we had to hide stuff like almost everyday. Yep! It was everyday I had to lie to my mom why I’d go home late, and on Saturdays, just so we could go out. But look how far we’ve reached. My parents know EVERYTHING. They know almost every single detail of our hidden days. Uh! It’s just really cool and I can’t get over it, if you noticed in almost all my blogs! Sorry, but you all just have to bear (*rar*) JK with me, I just haven’t felt like this in forever. *smile*

*sigh* I wonder how my life would be if I didn’t transfer to U.P. I wouldn’t have met all you incredible people who, I guess, sometimes make me cry, but most of the time smile.
Anyway, I’m going to end here since it’s really late and I got to sleep already! Night!
I heart you all! *laugh*

Chihuahuas And Chocolate (two things i love!): A Dangerous Combination

If your Chihuahua has ever eaten chocolate, you know first hand the risks of what can happen to it. While most of us humans can eat chocolate without a second thought, smaller dogs (especially Chihuahuas and Miniature pinschers, like Ginger) aren't quite as lucky. Chocolate is usually thought of as a good tasting sweet or delicious candy bar. This is just the opposite when you bring Chihuahuas into the mix, as chocolate is toxic to them. (Must suck for them, huh?) More specifically, a naturally occurring compound found in chocolate, called Theo bromine (yep! Well- researched!) is what makes chocolate so dangerous to dogs? To make matters worse, the smaller the dog, the more distinct the side effects. Your Chihuahua may experience epileptic seizures, heart problems (and in some cases) internal bleeding. Unfortunately, in the worst case scenario, too much chocolate could even kill your beloved pet. No matter how cute or persistent your Chihuahua may be, never give in and feed it some chocolate (whether it be a small or large amount). Which is more important: pleasing your dog for a few moments with a tasty truffle or its overall well-being? Also, be extra careful around holidays such as Halloween, Easter, and Christmas to make sure your Chihuahua doesn't munch on any chocolate containing treats. With a bit of effort and a watchful eye, you can keep your Chihuahua safe from this potentially deadly threat.

It's not so easy to describe their history but at least the origin points to Mexico. There are a lot of archeological probes about the existence of a particular dog very similar to the actual Chihuahua dog. The Chihuahuas are also known as the "Mexican naked dog”.
Chihuahua dogs are the smallest dogs on the planet! That also means that it's very easy the job of taking care of this dog. They require minimal attention. But of course if you want to give them your FULL attention, then, why not? Once a month as normal, they need a full examination. Check the ears to make sure they are clean. Make sure their teeth are clean, and their moustache.Their nails raise like rocket, so try to cut monthly to maintain lower, also the moustache would be better. The aspect of the dog depends on the frequent check you do. An owner, who daily checks their Chihuahua, would have a Chihuahua ready to be "the sensation". When doing an inspection of your dog, be careful with their eyes, and also they don't like people touch their ears. But, try to keep clean their ears since it's the first place where dirty stuff accumulates. Smooth coat Chihuahuas doesn't need to cut their hair. Otherwise, long coated Chihuahuas need sometimes a cut hair. Also, a bath is needed a few times a year for dogs when owners are very responsible with the frequent examination. Use a shampoo for dogs and a towel since they like to be warm. Or else if you leave them running around right after their bath, they’re just going to end up rolling around on the warm grass. Just like Midi, Ginger’s mom! (God bless her soul!)*smile* Oh, and of course put a good looking outfit to your doggy.
